 A Dream & A Prayer

Working with single moms is always special for me. Watching them take control of their lives for the sake of themselves and their children is always awe-inspiring. They motivate me and when I’m allowed to become a part of their story I am honored.

In 2016, I met a young mom, that absolutely captured my heart. From the moment we met and she asked me to pray with her inside one of the homes I knew that we would become fast friends.  She told me then that she was going to buy a home and she spoke with such faith and determination that I knew that she would reach her goal. 

We looked at properties and she worked on her financing options for three years, but never did she waver in her resolve and in the summer of 2018 she finally realized her goal and moved into her new house.   The best part is that the house she ended up with is so much nicer than anything we’d looked at.  With planning and prayer a dream came true.
